another Twilight....

I made another Twilight layout!! It is similar to my other ones just a bit different in colors and I got rid of the oval frame and added a cool title tag and also a Cullen Crest! I also did some fun overlaping with 2 colors of flourishes! Lots of fun Stickles and Diamond Glaze through out of course! ;) And I tried a different stitch this time to change things up a bit... the stitch is a bugger to work with though... I only broke one needle this time!! hehe But I think it turned out beautiful! TFL - Kate

What I used...
- Pazzles to cut out the Cullen Crest and Edward & Bella
paper piecing, oh and the title tag too!!
- I also used Twirls and Swirls Pazzles CD for the flourishes.
- Diamond Glaze and Stickles.
Check out HallmarkScrapbook.com for all these fun products!!

I had so much fun with this Twilight title tag. I made it so it could flip open to reveal more room for pictures or journaling.... I think I will be doing this in the future a lot more!!

Diamond Glaze on the black of the Cullen Crest...
It looks really neat in person!

Here is another hidden tag with 2 more spots
for photos or journaling.
But I wanted to show a closer picture of the stitching...**As far as the paper piecing of Edward &Bella is concerned, my husband and I have put a lot of time into designing and creating this one-of-a kind paper piecing, so please, please, PLEASE, don't replicate it for resale. We consider it a piece of art and should be treated as such.

Twilight with ME!

Okay, so I finally decided to make a layout with me on it, but unfortunately it isn't for myself. I am donating it to a website that will be giving a scrapbook to the writer of the Twilight series, Stephenie Meyer. The scrapbook will be filled with fans letters, artwork, and scrapbook pages. The pages have details about my favorite things about the book series. It also has a couple of my favorite quotes that correspond with the characters.

What I used...
I used my Pazzles (Pazz for short) Inspiration for all the paper piecing including the title.
The flourishes are from the Pazz CD called Swirls and Twirls.
Oh the little blue flowers are from Cricut's Accent Essentials.
I also used Diamond Glaze on all the flourishes, of course!!

I hope you can finally enjoy a layout from me
that actually has a picture on it! :) LOL

This is the actually font from the cover of the books...

Here is a picture of me with my favorite hobbies...

Twilight... Jacob

This layout was designed around a picture of the actor, Taylor Lautner, who is playing Jacob in the upcoming movie, Twilight. Julio made him have a bit longer hair because in the original picture, he didn't have long hair but in the books he is supposed to have long hair.

I absolutly love how this layout turned out. I think the colors go great with Jacob's background. I think of Jacob in the color realm of Browns, Rust, and Teal... colors found in nature. Edward, I think, has more cooler color hues.... like Black, Blues, Greys. He also where's White and tans in the book. And of course, Red and Black like the book covers.

I use my Pazzles Inspiration to cut out most of my paper piecing including Jacob and the wolf and also the title. I got my Pazz at my favorite online store... Hallmarkscrapbook! The flourishes were also cut from my Pazz using a CD called Swirls & Twirls. Check out this AMAZING machine!!

If this is your first time to my blog and you would like to know the story behind these paper piecing, you are welcome to go to the first Twilight layout of Edward and Bella at the Prom.

This paper piecing of Jacob took 9 different colors of paper and around 12 different cuts!!
The font I used for this layout was the same font as Jacob's handwriting in the book. Kind of a fun fact!
It was hard to decide what quote to use because I didn't know if I should go more toward the romantic side or not. Since the layout was all about Jacob and no Bella, I went with this quote of Jacob as a wolf...
Here is Jacob as a wolf. We wanted to go for a wolf in the shadow kind of look...

**As far as the paper piecing of Jacob & the wolf are concerned, my husband and I have put a lot of time into designing and creating this one-of-a kind paper piecing, so please, please, PLEASE, don't replicate it for resale. We consider it a piece of art and should be treated as such.

Twilight Shadow Box...

I thought I would make a shadow box this time,
just showcasing Edward and Bella.
It is very similar to the layout I did
but on a smaller scale.

It page measures 8.5 x 13.
I got the shadow box from Roberts...
they come with three, this one is the biggest.
They come unfinished so I decided I would stain it.

What I used:
My Pazzles for Edward and Bella.
The flourishes are from the Swirls & Twirls Pazzles CD.
I also did the Oval Frame with my Pazz.
I used Cricut cart Accent Essentials for the little blue flowers.
As always I used Diamond Glaze and Stickles
I don't remember what the flowers are, sorry.

I used Diamond Glaze on the title...

Twilight... Edward & Bella at Prom

The Edward and Bella is an original paper piecing designed by me and my husband, Julio! The piecing was created from a picture of the actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who star in the upcoming Twilight movie! The piecing were cut using my Pazzles Inspiration!! With this machine, the possibilities are endless...REALLY!!

Here is the story behind the paper art piecing...

So you all know that my eBay group is having a Twilighter's Give Blood charity event. Somehow I talked Julio is to making me some paper piecings to go with the theme. He has also read and enjoyed the whole Twilight book series and was happy to help! I found the picture that I liked and he got to work creating this amazing, what I would call art, paper piecing!! I had no idea that something like this could even be created. He acted like it was no big deal! While we were cutting all the pieces out, I was getting more and more excited for people to be able to see this incredible work that my incredible hubby made!! And it got my imagination thinking of what other people to make into a paper art piece! Julio has already started creating the charater Jacob and soon after there will be a werewolf!! Each of them are very time concuming and very detail oriented so I don't know how many of these piecings I'll be able to talk him into creating, but my imagination is going wild with ideas!!

What I used:
Pazzles Inspiration for the Edward and Bella Paper Piecing (of course)!
I also used my Pazzles for the big oval and title (blackjack font) AND
the florishes are from the Pazzles CD Swirls & Twists.
Cricut cart Accent Essentials for the little flowers.
Diamond and Black Diamond Stickles
Diamond Glaze

Thank you for taking the time to take a look!! :)

As you probably can see, I used lots of glitter and glaze...
I love the stuff and can't get enought!! lol!

Here is our one-of-a kind design of Edward and Bella,
dancing with each other at the Prom,
while expressing their love for one another.

Be sure to look at all the details... it took around 10,
yes I said TEN, different colors of paper to
make this paper piecing!!

Here is what the original picture that we used looks like!

Here you can see the hidden tags ready for
more pictures or journaling!

This quote is from the last page of the book Twilight,
where Edward and Bella are at the prom.
(sorry, the light in these pics are a little dull,
I wil try and retake them)

Can you see the little love charm at the bottom?

the Cullen Crest...

So the Twilighter's Give Blood event has officially started!!

Here is my take on the Cullen Crest...
In the upcoming Twilight movie, all the vampires are wearing this crest as either a ring, necklace, or bracelet. Julio recreated this fantastic paper piecing to show case the wonderful crest!! I think it turned out spectacular!! I used my Pazzles to cut it out!!

Remember that part of the proceeds of this layout will be going to the Red Cross, so give all you can!! :)

I used pop dots for a 3D affect...

I used pop dots here for a 3D affect!

I love my Cuttlebug embossing folders...
I can make my own background paper with just
a little ink and my embossing folder... whala!!
