Twilight Shadow Box...

I thought I would make a shadow box this time,
just showcasing Edward and Bella.
It is very similar to the layout I did
but on a smaller scale.

It page measures 8.5 x 13.
I got the shadow box from Roberts...
they come with three, this one is the biggest.
They come unfinished so I decided I would stain it.

What I used:
My Pazzles for Edward and Bella.
The flourishes are from the Swirls & Twirls Pazzles CD.
I also did the Oval Frame with my Pazz.
I used Cricut cart Accent Essentials for the little blue flowers.
As always I used Diamond Glaze and Stickles
I don't remember what the flowers are, sorry.

I used Diamond Glaze on the title...
**As far as the paper piecing of Edward and Bella is concerned, my husband and I have put a lot of time into designing and creating this one-of-a kind paper piecing, so please, please, PLEASE, don't replicate it for resale. We consider it a piece of art and should be treated as such.

Thank you so much for all the support, encouragement, and understanding!!

Our new neighbor girl just turned 6 and had a birthday party. Shay was so excited to go to her first "friend" party... she got to dress up like a princess. This frame is what I made for the little girl.

This is what I used:
I used my Pazz for the word Princess with BlackJack font.
Cricut cart Paper Dolls for the Princess and the castle.
The flowers on her dress were from Accent Essentials.

I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder from Cuttlebug on the dress.
The flower is from Heidi Swapp.
The paper is Pebbles in my Pocket.
As always... Diamond Glaze and Stickles!!

Twilight... Edward & Bella at Prom

The Edward and Bella is an original paper piecing designed by me and my husband, Julio! The piecing was created from a picture of the actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who star in the upcoming Twilight movie! The piecing were cut using my Pazzles Inspiration!! With this machine, the possibilities are endless...REALLY!!

Here is the story behind the paper art piecing...

So you all know that my eBay group is having a Twilighter's Give Blood charity event. Somehow I talked Julio is to making me some paper piecings to go with the theme. He has also read and enjoyed the whole Twilight book series and was happy to help! I found the picture that I liked and he got to work creating this amazing, what I would call art, paper piecing!! I had no idea that something like this could even be created. He acted like it was no big deal! While we were cutting all the pieces out, I was getting more and more excited for people to be able to see this incredible work that my incredible hubby made!! And it got my imagination thinking of what other people to make into a paper art piece! Julio has already started creating the charater Jacob and soon after there will be a werewolf!! Each of them are very time concuming and very detail oriented so I don't know how many of these piecings I'll be able to talk him into creating, but my imagination is going wild with ideas!!

What I used:
Pazzles Inspiration for the Edward and Bella Paper Piecing (of course)!
I also used my Pazzles for the big oval and title (blackjack font) AND
the florishes are from the Pazzles CD Swirls & Twists.
Cricut cart Accent Essentials for the little flowers.
Diamond and Black Diamond Stickles
Diamond Glaze

Sold

Thank you for taking the time to take a look!! :)

As you probably can see, I used lots of glitter and glaze...
I love the stuff and can't get enought!! lol!

Here is our one-of-a kind design of Edward and Bella,
dancing with each other at the Prom,
while expressing their love for one another.

Be sure to look at all the details... it took around 10,
yes I said TEN, different colors of paper to
make this paper piecing!!

Here is what the original picture that we used looks like!

Here you can see the hidden tags ready for
more pictures or journaling!

This quote is from the last page of the book Twilight,
where Edward and Bella are at the prom.
(sorry, the light in these pics are a little dull,
I wil try and retake them)

Can you see the little love charm at the bottom?

the Cullen Crest...

So the Twilighter's Give Blood event has officially started!!

Here is my take on the Cullen Crest...
In the upcoming Twilight movie, all the vampires are wearing this crest as either a ring, necklace, or bracelet. Julio recreated this fantastic paper piecing to show case the wonderful crest!! I think it turned out spectacular!! I used my Pazzles to cut it out!!

Remember that part of the proceeds of this layout will be going to the Red Cross, so give all you can!! :)

I used pop dots for a 3D affect...

I used pop dots here for a 3D affect!

I love my Cuttlebug embossing folders...
I can make my own background paper with just
a little ink and my embossing folder... whala!!

Hello Friend

You all know I don't make cards very often but I made this special card using the NEW Cuttlebug Card Making Combos "Friends Forever" that I got over at HallmarkScrapbook.com. They make my life so much easier because I can whip up a super cute card in no time!

I used the technique where you ink the
embossing folder first and then emboss your paper.
I looks so neat. I used a sand color ink
so the cream paper would look old.

I don't know if you can see but I put Diamond Glaze on all
the flower dots and also on the "Hello Friend".
