persoNAILity

Jody over at Hallmarkscrapbook gave us a Challenge
to make a layout using this above sketch.
I tell you, I've never actually used a sketch before,
but it was well worth it...
it turned out better then I could of imagined!

I of course used my Pazzles Inspiration that I got over at
Hallmarkscrapbook
Along with My Mind's Eye paper,
Bazzill cardstock,
Pebbles In My Pocket ribbon,
and Black Diamond Stickles glitter glue.

Thanks for taking the time to look
and you too should give this sketch and others a try!

Oh and thanks Jody! :)

Ice Cream Sundae 2...

Here is another one of my FUN Ice Cream Sundaes
I of course used my awesome Zutter Bind It All.
I don't know what I ever did without it before!
I got it over at Hallmarkscrapbook.com

I designed the whole album using my Pazzles Machine program. All I did was take various sizes of ovals and circles and welded them all together. Copy and pasted each layer to make the next page. I didn't use any chipboard but you could easy make it with chipboard to make it stronger but it ended up being pretty strong with just a piece of cardstock in the middle of two pieces of paper, one for the front and one for the back. I hope that makes sense! If you have questions just shoot me an email. It measured around 11.5 x 5.5. They are a fun and easy thing to make especially if you have the design saved to your computer to use in the future.

*Just a tip ...
you could also easily make a very similar one
using the Design Studio Software with your Cricut!

Bridal Shower Evelope Book

I made this super cute and easy Bridal Shower Book
for my new sister-in-law Angie.
It is made from plain old envelopes
and my Zutter Bind It All
that I got over at Hallmarkscrapbook

Look at the binding with all the cute ribbon!
I used to make these albums with 3 book rings
and tied ribbon to them and it would be cute,
but nothing compares to the whole side
covered in pretty ribbons!! :)

It the inside of the pages are tags that are tied
with ribbon. Everyone at the shower
wrote their advice to the bride on them.
Then at the shower I take picture of the
whole event and finish the book for her.
Extra pictures are in the pocket too
so everything is all in once place!

Take a look at this fun slide show that shows
all the pages and details!

FAMILY birthday calendar...

I made this family birthday calendar
for my mom and step-dad for Christmas last year
and totally forgot to take pictures of it until now.

I used Cricut cartridge Opposites Attract
for the word "birthdays" and welded it using Design Studio.
I also used Cricut cartridge Plantin Schoolbook
for the word "FAMILY"
and for the welded abbreviated months.
I got my cartridges and Design Studio,
oh and Diamond Glaze from
Hallmarkscrapbook.com

I got the frame from Roberts Craft and
then added the hooks to the bottom.
I Diamond Glazed the words and Modge Podged
the whole thing. After it was dry, I added the ribbon.
The stars were sold from a lady that makes
the stars already hooked all together and painted.
Then you just write everyone's names
and the day they were born on each star...
simple as that!!

**UPDATE**
4.2011
I talked to the couple that sells the stars and they gave me permission to give out their info if you are interested in ordering the stars I used on this project. I got them from Heart & Soul Crafts. They don't have an actual store or website so you have to call Roger 801.726.0577 to order and send a check or money order to get your stars. They sell to a few local shops and go to craft fairs/boutiques. Check out their Facebook page HERE. If you have any other question, give me a shout!

I put all my parents grandchildren in the frame
which I first printed in wallet size
and then inked and ruffed up the edges
to add some character!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and take a look!
