Friends Forever

I just love the Winnie the Pooh & Friends Cricut cartridge
that I got over at
My daughter Shay loves Pooh's Hephalump Movie
and Pooh's Hephalump Halloween too.
So I decide to make this layout of her and one of her good friends
because if you have ever seen the movies...
Roo & Lumpy are become best of friends!

This is what else I used:
The word "FRIEND" was cut from
the Pooh Font Cricut cartridge.
The word "forever" was cut from my Pazzles.
The flowers are a Walk in My Garden Cricut cartridge.
I embossed the flowers using my Cuttlebug Embossing Folders.
The bee is a Cuttlekids die.
I also used lots of Stickles!

Thanks for looking!

Oh Sweet Turtle

I made this card for the challenge over at Message Board
The challenge was to make something using the TURTLE cut
from Walk in my Garden Cricut cartridge.

I was looking at all my paper...even my scraps and couldn't
find any green papers I wanted to use,
so I looked at this cute pink and brown paper in my scraps
and decided to make a baby girl card!

I like how it turned out...very "SWEET"!! lol
Thanks for looking!

Winnie the Pooh & Friends

Another... "Oh Happy Day"

I used the same title and black mat concept from my other
"Oh happy day" layout which I know I will do many more times!
I just think it makes the whole thing pop a little more,
especially where the Winnie Pooh & friends are outlined in black too.

I don't know if you can tell by I embossed the flowers
and put stickles glitter on them...making them
look a little more fun!
I also used pop dots on almost everything
to make it pop out a bit! VERY FUN!

And as always...I have a few flourishes to add a little flare!

Thanks for taking a look!
I will be posting this layout on eBay on Monday May 19th.

but please don't recreate to sell on eBay...thanks a bunch!)

Shay's TUTU...

Shay wanted a dress to dance in so I decided a TUTU would be fun and wouldn't cost too much to make. So here is the end result...

How I made it:
I got enough elastic band to fit around Shay
then sewed it together.
Then got 1 yard of pink and green tulle
and cut it into strips.
I tied knots all the way around the elastic band
Then I realized that I didn't have enough tulle and I had to go back to the store. When I got to the store they didn't have anymore of the pink or green so I had to get a yard of white which then I cut too short! But in the end it turned out so so cute and so SO PUFFY!!!
I LOVE it but Shay isn't quite sure is she likes it yet!

Matching Arpons

Here is the fun matching aprons that I made for me and Shay.
She is always up to the counter helping me cook or bake.
She is such a good helper...
most of the time! ;) Hahaha
We also like to put on our new aprons to cook
in Shay's little kitchen too and to play store.
She has quite the imagination!

I have enough material to make 3 more little kid aprons that
I am planning to sell on eBay or Etsy.
We'll see how far I get with that project! LOL ;)

Happy Birthday "STAMP" card

Thanks to Sharon for the fabulous idea of doing new challenges
every week over at
It gets me thinking about new ideas on how to use all
my Cricut cartridges!

The whole concept of the challenges is that every Friday
one of us will come up with a new challenge for the follow week.
It will be due to be posted in the Hallmark photo gallery
not the following Monday but the next so you will have
a total of one week and 3 days to complete the challenge.
Hope that makes sense!! :)

If you would like more details check out the
first challenge here.

For this weeks challenge click here.

I used Cricut carts Base Camp "STAMP" cut along with
Accent of the flourish cut's
welded together using Design Studio. Very fun!!
I will definitely be using this cut again!!

Wall Calendar

So I bought this little project around a month or so ago while
I was in Idaho. All of it came in separate pieces...
a 12x12 frame, a clear plastic blank calendar*,
and then I just scrapbooked the page behind it using
some of my favorite paper.
I love the whole concept because I can change out the
background page anytime I want...
perfect for the holidays!!
I kept it simple by painting the frame black
so it will go with anything!!
And with the dry erase just can't go wrong!

Thanks for looking...

I created the scalloped center of the flower and the scalloped
border using different techniques on the Pazzles machine!

I used flourish stamps and word rub-ons to create the background.

Here is a look at my bee's and beehive border
that I made a few years back.
I think it matches it pretty well!

Because of always living in an apartment,
I use silly putty on the backs of the painted
bee's and beehive's so I can easily put them up
and take them down each time we move.

*The 12x12 clear blank plastic calendar sheet
is made by Paper Accents*
