Sliding Into Summer

I know, I know... it has been WAY too long since I last listed a layout on eBay. Can you believe that the last time I listed was May. How the summer has flew by and I've enjoy ever minute of it! We didn't do real vacations, but we did go to Idaho a few times to visit family. We also did a bunch of parade's and fireworks, two fairs and lots of visiting with family and friends! I'm happy to be back to selling. I love creating layouts!

So here is my latest creation! I updating my playground set and I am really loving it. I'm working on getting it ready to sell as a file set too! I sure hope you all like it!

Felt Cake

So my daughter Shay comes to me the other day and says that it is her babies (dolls) birthday. They are "twins"! hehe Anyways, I told her I would help by making a cake for her. I have seen felt food patterns on Etsy.com and thought how hard can it be.

It really wasn't hard to make, but it was a little time consuming and my hubby, Julio, was great to give me time without the kids to make it. Shay LOVES it and it planning the babies birthday party today! I think I'll try some more in the future if I get some more time.

The roses were the most time consuming because they have 7 pieces and you have hand sew each one separately.

I added a few details to my cake, like the ric-rac to hide the seams and the ribbon and "metal" ring on the pipping bag.
