I was still in the mood for Spring when I made this layout. Now that the snow is very much here and isn't going anywhere for awhile, I am now in the festive spirit and will start working on Holiday layouts. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Blooming BEAUTY
I wasn't in the mood to do a Holiday layout so what do I do... yep, a very girlie, flowery pink layout! I used my own bear pattern (found HERE) and designed a cute title for the top. The flowers are from my daughters Cuttlekids dies. I really just love how it turned out even though it is very much one of my typical eBay layouts.

Life is a Highway 2
I know, you probably think you are seeing things...
this layout actually has pictures on it. Amazing right!?!

While I was getting ready to make a layout for eBay, I found that I had plenty of this paper that my friend Ash gave me to make a whole other layout exactly that same which is kind of rare. So I decided to make the same layout for myself. It didn't come out exactly the same but it is very similar and I already found pictures to put on it. What do you think?? I LOVE it because I haven't made a layout for myself in ages... seriously, I don't remember the last!this layout actually has pictures on it. Amazing right!?!

Natural Beauty
As some of you know that I made this layout some time ago... over 2 years!! But I've never really thought of this layout as mine because I made it with eBay in mind. So I thought I would give it one last try on eBay to see how it does. Wish me luck with re-listing! -Kate
This layout is not my normal layout. What I really mean is that I don't do elegant and pretty very often. But the set up of the layout is the same old me! I LOVE how this one turned out. I'll be sad to see it go... this one I'll be selling on eBay. I look at it as Simple Vintage...This is what I used:
IndieArt Cricut Cart - Butterflies
Storybook Font Cricut Cart -
corner flourish and marquee title box.
Cuttle Bug Embossing folder - Script Texture
Cuttle Bug Embossing folder - Divine Swirl
Thank you for taking the time to look!
SOLD
More details of the layout...
Something was missing when I cut this butterfly with my Cricut. I decided it needs something else so I decided to try punching some holes on both sides of the wings. That did the trick!! I put cream paper behind the holes to make it look a tad more like a Monarch butterfly. It was fun to alter this, already pretty, butterfly cut into something even more beautiful!
I used the technique where you ink the embossing folder first and then emboss your paper. I looks so neat. I used a sand color ink so the cream paper would look old. The picture doesn't do it justice... it turned out so beautiful!
I made a hiding tag to go behind one of the big photo mats. It is made for 2 extra photos or journaling spots. I don't know about you but I take way too many pictures!
I fell in love with this neat flourish that I decided looks really neat as a photo corner embellishment. I also used it on my "My Hero" layout.
Here you can see the embossing. Also you can see how the pop dots have made the butterfly look like it is about to flitter away! Lovely...
Here is a picture with the layout tilted to see the Butterflies getting ready to lift right off the page.(Your welcome to copy my designs for you own personal use,but please don't recreate to sell...thanks a bunch!)

Halloween Advent Calendar...
I thought it would be fun to make an advent calendar for Halloween for my two young kids. This is how I made it...
So I started off with a 9x13 cookie sheet from the $1 store. The metal is pretty light, so my hubby made too holes with a large nail and a hammer on the sides of the pan for the ribbon to attach to. Then I did some simple, light scrapbooking on the inside of the pan so it wouldn't be too thick with paper so the magnets would hold to the metal nicely. The paper line I used is BoBunny.
You can find this Curly Tree pattern for FREE HERE at The Paper Piecing Beehive where I sell paper piecing cut files.
Then I went and got the BoBunny "Whoo-ligans" chipboard set to make some of the days. I stamped days on 14 of the chipboard pieces and then for the rest of the days I used Diamond Glaze to put numbers on the bottoms of smooth flat marbles. Then I put magnets on the bottom all 31 pieces. I also put a little Stickles glitter on some of the chipboard pieces.

Sliding Into Summer
I know, I know... it has been WAY too long since I last listed a layout on eBay. Can you believe that the last time I listed was May. How the summer has flew by and I've enjoy ever minute of it! We didn't do real vacations, but we did go to Idaho a few times to visit family. We also did a bunch of parade's and fireworks, two fairs and lots of visiting with family and friends! I'm happy to be back to selling. I love creating layouts!
So here is my latest creation! I updating my playground set and I am really loving it. I'm working on getting it ready to sell as a file set too! I sure hope you all like it!
